Course Description
The Civil Construction Program offered by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) is a highly valuable pre-apprenticeship initiative designed to equip students with essential skills for securing employment within the construction trades. As an accredited organization, NCCER holds national recognition for its contributions to the industry.

A cornerstone of the NCCER's offerings is the Core Curriculum, which covers a comprehensive range of topics. These include fundamental safety protocols, construction mathematics, adept handling of hand and power tools, proficiency in blueprint reading, basic rigging techniques, honing of employable and communication skills, as well as an introduction to material handling procedures.

Through a combination of the Core Curriculum and supplemental training in work readiness, conflict resolution, case management, BLS CPR First Aid, and authorized OSHA 30, students emerge from the program as competent and invaluable individuals, fully prepared to thrive in the construction industry.
